India: Over 11,000 t of sponge iron traded in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s price assessment of sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur dropped by INR 200/t to INR 34,300/t exw. However, spot trades spurted as prices fell as nearly 11,600 t deals were reported by participants today. Of this, FeM 78% P-DRI was traded at INR 33,500-33,600/t DAP Raipur, while FeM 79-80% was traded at INR 34,000-34,300/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
