China’s HRC, CRC prices rise by up to RMB 60/t ($9/t)

China’s HRC prices rose by RMB 60/t ($9/t) and CRC prices by RMB 50/t ($7/t) d-o-d on 23 Aug’22. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,951/t ($577/t), registering a sharp rise of RMB 71/t ($10/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,990/t ($583/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,415/t ($645/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
