Adani Power Ltd plans to buy thermal power assets of DB Power Limited (DBPL) for INR 7,017 crore. DB Power has two thermal power units of 600 MW each in Janjgir-Champa district, Chhattisgarh. Currently, DB Power has long and medium-term power purchase agreements for 923.5 MW of its capacity backed by fuel supply agreements with Coal India. The power producer has been operating its facilities profitably.
