Gujarat-based steel mill has booked around 80,000 t of pellets from a West Bengal producer at INR 8,450-8,550/t CIF, Kandla, sources informed SteelMint. Amidst subdued demand, drop in sponge iron production and fall in pellet exports, eastern India mills seem to be exploring other markets. Price indications from Jindal SAW are heard at around INR 10,600/t DAP Kandla.
