HR strip (patra) prices moved up by INR 200/t ($2/t) in Raipur on the back of increased enquiries in yesterday’s evening session. However, prices remained largely stable in Mandi Gobindgarh on 19 Aug’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,700/t ($660/t) exw-Raipur and INR 54,000/t ($676/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
