India: Portside South African RB3 traded at INR 16,200/t at Haldia

In a confirmed deal, 7,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 16,200/t at Haldia Port. In another deal, 500 t of RB3 coal was sold at INR 15,000/t at Vizag Port. Sponge iron manufacturers continue to procure low-CV RB3 for blending purpose. Imported prices of the grade are assessed at $165/t CIF India basis.
