South Korea: Steel billet exports rebound, m-o-m, in July

South Korea’s steel billet exports rose multi-fold m-o-m in Jul’22 to 31,432 t from 5,596 t in Jun, as per customs data.
Japan was the major importer at 9,110 t, followed by China at 146 t.
However, export volumes fell by 53% to 144,252 t on year in Jan-Jul’22 as against 305,937 t in the year-ago period.
