State-owned miner OMC has lowered the base price for its upcoming chrome ore auction on 19 Aug’22 by 4-5% from the previous auction on 18 Jul following a drop in domestic ferro chrome prices by 7% m-o-m on 18 Aug. Approximately 25% (13,500 t) of the total quantity of 54,400 t was booked at the floor price in the last auction held on 18 Jul.
