India: About 5,000 t sponge iron sold to buyers in Nepal

One rake (2,500 t) of sponge iron was sold at $470-475/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $490/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
A 2,500 t of pellet-based DRI (P-DRI) deal was concluded from eastern India at $445-450/t CPT Nepal.
However, no fresh deals were reported for Bangladesh due to concerns on LC opening and offers are hovering around $425/t CPT Benapole.
