Nalco and Balco have decreased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 4,700/t ($59/t) and INR 3,000/t ($38/t) today against the previous announcements on 1 Aug and 17 Aug respectively. The effective prices stand at INR 222,200/t ($2,790/t) and INR 224,500/t ($2,819/t) exw. The main factor behind the price revision was the constant swing in exchange futures as well as spot prices.
