India: HR strip (patra) prices edge up by up to INR 400/t ($4/t) in key markets

HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur and by INR 400/t ($5/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh on 16 August 2022. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 53,500/t ($674/t) exw-Raipur and at INR 54,800/t ($690/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
