SAIL’s Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant conducted an auction on 12 August for 500 t of silico manganese (Mn 53-57%, 0-3mm, 3-10mm). Out of which, 100 t of Mn:57% grade was booked at INR 65,570/t while another 100t of the same grade material was booked at INR 65,670/t. In the last auction held on 29 July, SAIL booked 300 t of Mn:57% at around INR 65,000/t.
