Chinese-origin HRC (SS400) offers for Pakistan were heard at around $635/t CFR Karachi, unchanged w-o-w. The market remained muted on occasion of Muharram (8-9 August) and Independence Day (14 Aug) keeping most of the market participants in the holiday mood, informed reliable sources. Japanese mills are offering at $650-660/t CFR while South Korean mills are quoting $640/t CFR this week.
