China: Copper ore imports down 8% m-o-m in Jul’22

China’s copper ore imports stood at 1.9 mnt in Jul’22, a decrease of 7.82% against 2.06 mnt in Jun’22, as per customs data maintained by SteelMint.
On yearly basis, import volumes were almost stable against 1.89 mnt in Jul’21.
Cumulative imports in Jan-Jul’22 were up by 7.5% y-o-y to 14.38 mnt against 13.38 mnt in the same period last year.
