Indonesia: Steel billet imports rise, m-o-m, in June

Indonesia’s steel billet imports rose sharply by 165.57% m-o-m in Jun’22 to 0.34 mnt against 0.13 mnt in May’22, as per customs data.
Oman was the largest exporter at 0.16 mnt, followed by Russia at 0.09 mnt.
Import volumes increased by 4% to 1.71 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Jun’22 as against 1.65 mnt in the year-ago period.
