China: Iron ore prices rise on improved trading activity

The spot price of iron ore in China rose on 5 Aug’22 as trading activity in the steel market increased. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved up by $3.15/t to $106.95/t CFR China. According to sources, buyers who were previously cautious have also started purchasing making up for their previous lack of demand.
