HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 600/t ($8/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 300/t in Raipur ($4/t) on 5 Aug’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 54,000/t ($681/t) exw-Mandi and INR 52,700/t ($664/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
