Raipur-based steel wire rod manufacturers lowered their offers today by INR 500/t to INR 55,000/t exw. Despite the fall in prices, trades in the spot market did not improve owing to weak sentiments and fall in semis prices in key markets as buyers showed less procurement interest at the floated offers. Wire rod trade discounts via resellers stand at INR 2,000/t.
