Hydro, a Norwegian aluminium and energy company, is investing $51.5 million or NOK 500 million in its extrusion plant based at Cressona, Pennsylvania facility in the USA. The aim is to expand the casting capacity by more than 50,000 tonnes, thereby, increasing the plant’s recycled aluminium production capacity. The project is expected to be fully operational by late 2024.
