South Africa’s chrome ore exports were down by 2% m-o-m to 1.12 mnt in Jun’22 against 0.98 mnt in May’22.
Major importers were China (0.51 mnt), Mozambique (0.43 mnt), Hong Kong (0.08 mnt) and Indonesia (0.001) mnt.
In Jan-Jun’22, cumulative exports dropped by 2% y-o-y to 7.12 mnt.
