- Induction route rebar prices dropped by INR 300/t to INR 52,700/t (10-25mm) exw-Raipur due to slow buying inquiries. Around 1,800 t transactions were recorded today.
- Buyers were largely on the sidelines, waiting for price correction after prices in northern region fell, despite high trade discounts offered by re-sellers.
- A few participants said that demand from neighbouring states was also low due to competitive offers by local suppliers.
