Sandur Manganese and Iron Ore Limited (SMIORE) had scheduled an iron ore auction on 1 Aug’22 from Sandur in Bellary district, Karnataka. According to market sources, the entire quantity of 36,000 t lumps (Fe58.10-59.90%) was booked at INR 3,899.5-4,479.25/t against the base price of INR 3,545-3,895/t while the entire quantity of 100,000 t fines (Fe58.10%) was also booked at the base price of INR 1,925/t. Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET charges.
