In Gujarat’s Alang market, ship-breaking melting scrap prices remained stable today, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 43,800/t exy. A slight uptick in semis and finished steel prices in central and northern regions and moderate buying enquiries for scrap in yesterday’s session prompted suppliers to keep offers stable today.
