Over 6,000 t sponge iron deals concluded in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur rose by INR 500/t to INR 35,500/t exw.
6,600 t of FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were concluded at INR 35,300-35,600/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis by Raipur- and Odisha-based plants.
Prices rose further on healthy orders with suppliers and ongoing slight supply shortage with shutdown of kilns at a couple of plants.
