Heavy structure steel prices opened stable d-o-d in Raipur today after increasing by INR 500/t on 30 Jul’22. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 57,000/t exw. Moderate bookings in structural steel and tight raw material prices in central region prompted suppliers to keep offers unchanged. Trade discounts are hovering at around INR 1,000-1,200/t in the spot market.
