Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) has increased special high-grade (SHG) zinc ingot prices by a sharp INR 16,000/t ($202/t) to INR 310,900/t ($3,927/t) exw-Jodhpur on 1 Aug’22 as against prices on 28 July. The key factor supporting the hike was declining stock at LME along with rising prices in the exchange market. Meanwhile, prices of lead ingots (99.99%) remained unchanged at INR 193,200/t ($2,441/t) exw-Jodhpur, SteelMint learnt.
