HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 700/t ($9/t) in Raipur while prices remained flat in Mandi Gobindgarh on 30 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,800/t ($667/t) exw-Raipur and INR 53,900/t ($681/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%. On a weekly basis, prices moved up by INR 2,000/t ($25/t) in Raipur and by INR 1,600/t ($20/t) in Mandi.
