Glencore’s base metals production declines in H1CY22

Glencore recently announced production results for H1CY22.

• Copper production dropped by 15% y-o-y.
• Zinc production was down by 17% y-o-y
• Lead output was lower by 19% compared to H1CY21.
• Nickel production, however, drifted up by 21% y-o-y.

Production figures were down owing to Covid-19 related absenteeism and a change in mining sequence.
