China’s domestic HRC prices rise by RMB 50/t ($7/t)

China’s HRC prices rose by RMB 50/t ($7/t) while CRC prices remained unchanged d-o-d on 29 July. According to SteelMint data, SHFE HRC futures for Oct’22 delivery settled today at RMB 3,988/t ($592/t), up by RMB 46/t ($7/t) d-o-d. Current prices-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,900/t ($579/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,345/t ($645/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin basis, inclusive of 13% VAT.
