HR strip (patra) prices rose by INR 1,200/t ($15/t) in Raipur while prices fell by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh on 29 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 53,500/t ($675/t) exw-Raipur and INR 53,900/t ($680/t) exw-Mandi, excluding GST at 18%.
