- SteelMint’s assessment for domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap prices have recovered to INR 120,000/t ($1,506/t) ex-Delhi today as against INR 117,000/t ($1,468/t) on 26 July.
- Prices have shown recovery on rising nickel prices at the exchange market and increasing imported scrap prices from Europe and Asia Pacific. “There is a scrap shortage in the market which may support scrap prices,” a trader said.
