India: Sponge iron demand remains strong from Nepal, Bangladesh

Four rakes (10,800 t) of lumps-based DRI (C-DRI) were sold at $460-465/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $480-485/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
Eight rakes (16,000 t) of pellet-based DRI (P-DRI) deal was concluded at $425/t LTW-eastern India, equivalent at around $445/t CPT Nepal.
Offers for Bangladesh stand at $410/t CPT Benapole and about 15,000 t deals were reported at $400-410/t CPT basis, for lumps-based DRI.
