South Korean steel majors would cut domestic scrap purchase prices by KRW 20,000/t ($15/t) from 27 July for all grades of scrap, as per SteelDaily.
POSCO will cut prices for Pohang and Gwangyang works, Hyundai Steel for Incheon, and Dangjin steelworks, and Dongkuk Steel for the Incheon plant.
