India: SAIL-RSP pig iron auction receives moderate response

SAIL held an auction for 2,100 t of steel grade pig iron on 25 July from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). Out of the total quantity, around 1,800 t material was booked at a weighted average price of INR 46,040/t exw, SteelMint learnt.
In the previous auction on 20 July for the same material from the plant (1,900 t) was booked at a average price of INR 46,575/t exw.
