China: Alumina production rises nearly 5% m-o-m in June

  • China’s alumina production was up by 4.7% in Jun’22 to 7.32 mnt as against 6.99 mnt in May’22.
  • On a yearly basis, production volumes were up by 7.5% as against 6.8 mnt in Jun’21.
  • The country’s cumulative alumina production stood at 39.75 mnt in Jan-Jun’22, data maintained by SteelMint shows.
