Two mild steel melting scrap auctions were held yesterday by auto component manufacturers in western India. One was conducted by Pune-based manufacturer, in which CR bushel scrap was booked at INR 44,200/t while in another auction by a Nashik-based manufacturer, the material was booked at INR 42,550/t. A Gurgaon-based manufacturer also conducted an auction on 19 July which received bids at INR 46,100/t exw.
