Nickel miner Vale Indonesia, China’s Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt and U.S. carmaker Ford Motor signed a non-binding memorandum of cooperation in Indonesia to develop a plant by extracting nickel ore, as per Vale’s release. Companies plan to produce 120,000 tonnes per annum of contained nickel in the form of mixed hydroxide precipitate.
