Anglo American’s iron ore output edges down by 4%, y-o-y, in Q2CY’22

Anglo American’s Kumba iron ore production stood at 9.47 mnt in Q2CY’22, down 4% y-o-y from 9.82 mnt in Q2CY’21 given the impact of safety intervention.
Production moved up by 14% q-o-q as against 8.29 mnt in Q1CY’22.
Meanwhile, sales increased by 10% on a yearly basis to 10.3 mnt in the period under review, reflecting improved logistics performance.
