Australia’s premium hard coking coal prices dropped by $8/t w-o-w to $230/t FOB as on 22 Jul’22. Any major fall was prevented this week due to heavy rains that led to supply issues. On demand side, the global steel market remains bearish with European steel mills cutting production and Indian steel mills opting for plant maintenance.
