HR strip (patra) prices dropped by INR 1,300/t ($16/t) d-o-d in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 500/t ($6/t) in Raipur on 21 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 52,500/t ($657/t) exw-Mandi and INR 51,200/t ($640/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
