Vietnamese integrated steel manufacturer Hoa Phat has reduced HRC (SAE1006, non-skinpassed) prices to VND 14,400,000/t (equivalent to $615/t) for Sept and early-Oct’22 deliveries in the domestic market. The announced price is lower by VND 2,000,000/t (or $85/t) compared to the Aug and early-Sept level of VND 16,400,000/t (equivalent to $700/t). Low buying interest is the key factor behind the price reduction, Vietnam-based sources informed.
