Raipur sponge iron prices fall by INR 300/t, around 5,000 t deals concluded

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur fell by INR 300/t to INR 33,400/t exw.
Around 4,800 t of FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were concluded at INR 33,000-33,500/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
Prices remained under pressure on account of improvement in spot supply along with dull finished steel sales, which forced buyers to keep bids on lower side.
