India: Over 9,000 t sponge iron deals concluded in Bellary, Karnataka

Sponge PDRI (FeM 80%) prices in Bellary fell by INR 300/t, while CDRI prices declined by INR 200/t on 19 July.
About 5,600 t PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,950-34,250/t exw against offers at INR 34,300/t exw.
SteelMint’s price assessment of CDRI stands at INR 34,700/t exw and about 3,650 t deals were recorded.
Trade volumes improved on lower offers quoted by sellers today.
