India: HR strip (patra) prices fall by upto INR 600/t ($8/t) in major markets

HR strip (patra) prices decreased by INR 600/tonne ($8/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 500/t ($6/t) in Raipur on 19 July. The current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 54,200/t ($678/t) exw-Mandi and INR 52,200/t ($653/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
