South Korea: Steel billet imports largely stable, m-o-m, in Jun’22

South Korea’s steel billet imports remained largely stable m-o-m in Jun’22 at 134,715 t from 136,907 t in May’22, as per data recently released by customs.
Japan was the only exporter to South Korea in June.
However, import volumes rose sharply by 51% y-o-y to 946,117 t in Jan-Jun’22 as against 626,180 t in the same period last year.
