HR strip (patra) prices have fallen by INR 1,200/t ($15/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) in Raipur on 16 July. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices are assessed at INR 54,500/t ($684/t) exw-Mandi and INR 53,000/t ($665/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
On a weekly basis, prices dropped by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) and INR 1,400/t ($18/t) in Mandi and Raipur markets respectively.
