Auto component manufacturers in north India conducted several auctions for mild steel melting scrap this week. In one such auction held by a Rajasthan-based manufacturer on 14 July, CR busheling scrap received bids at INR 49,550/t exw, higher by around INR 5,000-5,500/t m-o-m against last auction on 21 June. Notably, bid prices in this auction were the highest in last three months.
