Australia: Rio Tinto’s iron ore shipments up 12%, q-o-q, in Q2CY’22

Rio Tinto, the world’s leading iron ore miner, recorded iron ore shipments at 79.9 mnt in Q2CY’22, up 12% q-o-q as against 71.5 mnt in Q1CY’22.
Iron ore production marked a 10% rise to reach 78.6 mnt compared to 71.7 mnt in Q1.
Rio’s full-year guidance remains unchanged at 320-325 mnt.
