China: Iron ore prices fall as steel demand continues to remain weak

The spot price of iron ore in China fell on 15 Jul’22 due to continued weakness in steel demand. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $3.65/t to $96.6/t CFR China. Market participants adopted a more cautious stance as bearish sentiments prevailed, resulting in poor seaborne market liquidity.
