Australian premium hard coking coal prices fell by $6/t d-o-d on 14 Jul’22 to $238/t FOB. A 75,000 t cargo was booked at $235/t FOB by an Indian steel mill. The global steel market outlook remains bearish for Jul and Aug. Coking coal prices, however, may find renewed support if China lifts its unofficial ban on Australia coal.
